Pilates is a mat based class that incorporates a series of exercises that strengthen, stretch and mobilise the body.
The class focuses specifically on what are known as the core muscles, in other words our centre acting as a good support for our backs as we work our natural corset. The benefits also include strengthening of the pelvic floor muscles for really good body awareness through functional movement.
The class format works on many different levels of ability so can it can be enjoyed by most people.
There is a sessional charge for this activity; the funding of these sessions takes place within the group so for further information please turn up at one of the sessions.
